CROP INSURANCE

Crop insurance is available from Farm Credit of South Florida through Rain and Hail Insurance Service, Inc. Protection is available for most crops grown in our territory, including citrus fruit and trees, field and container-grown nursery plant inventory, sugar cane, and assorted vegetables. Insurance is available on a catastrophic or increased coverage basis.

Premiums are subsidized by the Federal Government, with producer cost as low as $100 for catastrophic coverage, making crop insurance an affordable tool for managing risk in your operation.

Our loan officers are licensed crop insurance agents, so the Farm Credit Loan Officer that handles your financing and understands your operation can now provide you with the protection of crop insurance.
